Kell House Rental Use and Fees

 

 

Look no further than the elegant Kell House Museum Gardens for your once-in-a-lifetime event.  The lovely formal gardens and romantic ambiance provide a truly original and memorable setting for you and your guests.  Set against the backdrop of the stately Frank Kell family home, the meticulously landscaped gardens feature a white columned pergola above and elegant dining and dancing area.  The Carriage House completes the rental space with a full kitchen, dressing rooms, and restrooms.  The Museum’s central location at 9^th and Bluff Streets in downtown Wichita Falls provides easy access from all travel points.

 

Rate Schedule

 

Wedding – 1 Hour                                       $325

Wedding & Reception – 4 Hours                 $525

Reception/Dinner Party – 3 Hours                $475

Special Party – 5 Hours                               $650

 

(Includes 2 hours set-up and 2 hours clean-up)

 

 

Indoor Photo Session – 1 Hour                    $75

(On Grand Staircase only)

Outdoor Photo Session – 1 Hour                 $25

Rehearsals – 1 Hour                                     $75

 

All Prices Subject to Change Without Notification

 

A security deposit of $100 is required to reserve an event date and is fully refundable upon successful clean-up after the event.  The rental fee is due two weeks prior to the scheduled event date.

 

Special Notes:

o       The gardens will accommodate up to 250 guests.

o       Arrangements may be made for bridal portraits or group tours of the Kell House in conjunction with the event.

o       Tents and canopies are allowed.  Heavy equipment, such as stages, is not permitted.

o       Security guards or off-duty policemen are required for evening events with more than 100 people in attendance.

o       The throwing of rice, confetti, or birdseed is prohibited.

o       No lighted candles are allowed.

o       The Museum will remain open when events are scheduled during business hours.

o       Chairs and tables are available for use during the event.

o       Wine and champagne and permissible, but no hard liquor or open bars are allowed.

o       Full clean-up and tear-down must occur immediately following the event, unless other arrangements have been made.  The Kell House is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
